When can I use ACT Browser?
We’re preparing early access now, starting with Windows and followed by macOS. Join the list and you’ll be among the first to get it.
Is it free?
The browser, ad blocking and malware protection are free. Some features, such as the built-in VPN, may be part of a paid plan; we’ll say exactly what’s included before launch, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.
Does the AI agent see everything I browse?
No. The agent reads a page only when you ask it to do something with that page, and what you share goes to the agent you chose, or stays on your computer with a local model. We’ll publish exactly how this works before launch.
Do I still need a separate antivirus?
MicroAV protects what happens in the browser: downloads and the sites you visit. It isn’t a replacement for your operating system’s own protection (such as Microsoft Defender), which guards the rest of your computer.
Is it based on Chrome?
It’s built on Chromium, the open-source project that Chrome, Edge and many other browsers are built on, so your extensions work. ACT Browser is independent and isn’t affiliated with Google.
